All 34 of Michelangelo’s Sistine Chapel frescoes, reproduced at life size, go on view at Polaris Fashion Place on Friday, November 6th, and stay through December 27th.
Michelangelo’s Sistine Chapel: The Exhibition is a touring show from SEE Global Entertainment. You see them up close, from the Creation of Adam to the Last Judgment. Plan on 60 to 90 minutes, with a free audio guide that plays on your phone.
An earlier Michelangelo show, called Michelangelo: A Different View, was at the Greater Columbus Convention Center around the start of 2022.
The exhibition is in the former Forever 21 storefront at 1500 Polaris Parkway, and there’s no way in from inside the mall. The door faces the parking lot, just to the right of the big Polaris Fashion Place archway near Dave & Buster’s. If you’re already inside, go out through the food court doors next to DICK’S House of Sport and follow the building around.
It’s closed Monday and Tuesday, and on Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
Adult tickets are $26 and youth tickets (ages 4 to 18) are $18 on weekdays, and $2 more on weekends. Those are opening-special prices through November 15th, then they go up by $7, so check the ticket page before you buy.
